Holkham Hall - North Norfolk

13th February 2010
Holkham Hall
A two mile round trip one hour photograph session. I put a sign on the gallery stating i'll be back in one hour!! Sometimes when the light is that good you have to bite the bullet and I knew that customers would be OK.

I have previously shot the Hall before and I already had the composition mapped out. I knew the light was special driving there but it turned out to be truly spectacular with the clouds passing behind. The low sun casts tree shadows along the grounds with the light catching the brickwork giving a golden light on its face, the yellow continues throughout the clouds.

I dashed back to the gallery as promised with my shot of the month!!
